alej9582
Hello everyone! I am new to the forum I have been doing some research regarding fossils in North Carolina located inland. NC is know for it's marine fossils and teeth near the town of Aurora and other localities of the coastal planes. But I am trying to find fossils inland. I have read a lot about the Chatham Formation and all it's Triassic sub basins. I went last Saturday to a rural locality north of an area called Harrisville located in the Pekin Formarion on Anson County, NC following some very old literature about fossils found around this Triassic deposits but found ether sand or meta rocks. I don't seem to find what's supposed to be this basin. Anyone has any ideas on knowledge of this area? I will appreciate any ideas or directions whatsoever they might be. Best Regards to all
