mrieder79 Posted October 28, 2015 Share Posted October 28, 2015 Just found this tooth. It is a little over 5.5". I have never seen a tooth with the enamel flare right before the root. My wife says it looks like it has love handles. Is this shape a function of position or size? It seems like it is a lower, but I have never seen any lowers with that flare. Perhaps the root was crowded; the enamel shell of the crown is the first thing to form on a shark's tooth. It could also just be a genetic misfire...
