PrehistoricFlorida
Here's some stuff I found today. I set a new personal record with 38 manatee teeth. I also found a decent dire wolf canine that's missing a little off the root. www.PrehistoricFlorida.com
Guest Cris
Nice stuff! You sure 38 manatee teeth in one day is just a personal record and not a world record? Looks like it was a fairly productive day.

Guest Cris
Anson and I met up with Nate (Auriculatus) today and headed out on the Santa Fe... Neither of us had masks or anything...Thank goodness Nate had a couple extras laying around.... well, after about 30 seconds in the water my lips started turning blue (time to get myself a wetsuit) and teeth were chattering. I managed to grab a couple things before I froze completely. A couple hours messing around in the shallows. (sad, I know) Pretty good size chunck of mammoth or mastodon tusk... Must be the outside layer, because it looks like it had scratch marks on it..... I don't know if it's from when the animal was alive or afterwards as it lay in the mud.
