Sedimentology + Stratigraphy

I stumbled across this series of videos on you-tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwA6CGwpTsM

I don't for a minute agree with their conclusions. The speaker is focused to narrowly to see that things work differently at larger scales with a broader focus.

My question though is, does the concept presented have some real merit ? It seems like something that could cause some serious confusion if not accounted for.

The Fossil Forum is not a place where creationism

is normally discussed. There are plenty of other message

boards, where a person can get into long drawn-out

discussions about it.

Thank you very much Paul. This appears to be just the information I was looking for.

The young earth thing is more than I can swallow, but I try to exercise my open mindedness once in a while by tuning in things that normally turn me off.
