CrystalF
After some research and looking around I have decided that I will be going with the air scribe from All Air Products, along with the longer stylus as an extra. Others are out of my price range at the moment and seeing as I am only doing a few ammonites I dont want to spend much on other air scribes. My question though is what is the working range of this type? What can I expect it to achieve? Is it too big to use to remove some matrix from some echinoids? I have not ever used one, so I do not know what to expect in that department. At the moment it will only be used to remove limestone from ammonites and maybe an echinoid or two. I would eventually like to also purchase some concretions with ammonites from different localities and then eventually a crab and trilobite. Would this scribe be suitable for something for the trilobite as well? And last question, are there palaces where I can buy concretions from sellers with a reputable reputation?
