Lee Creek Shark Teeth

Dicranurus

Recommended Posts

I bought a couple shark teeth from Lee Creek, Aurora, North Carolina, USA.

I'm not shark teeth expert so I need help for identification.

I believe the single tooth is Carcharhinus obscurus, the Dusky shark. It may be another species, but definitly Carcharhinus. The next pic has Isurus hastalis and Carcharias cuspidata (I think) on the top and 2 Physogaleus contortus on the bottom

There's no limit to what you can accomplish when you're supposed to be doing something else
