DChalo
My friend is selling a mosquito in amber for 10 dollars. He is selling it for that much because he doesn't know the true value. Is it a good deal?
tracer
we would have to see it to know. some "amber" isn't really amber. and some is reconstituted with bugs added.

The ol' brain is in somewhat of an inebriated fog tonight, but can't UV light determine the "reconstituted" stuff?
Seldom
The ol' brain is in somewhat of an inebriated fog tonight, but can't UV light determine the "reconstituted" stuff? Yes uv can be used but I see a lot of reconstituted stuff in that shape at the gem shows. Most of it comes from China their big into that this year Galveston Island 32 miles long 2 miles wide 134 bars 23 liquor stores any questions? Evolution is Chimp Change. Mango
All mosquitoes in amber, real or fake, would be PRICELESS. Pentax Optio W60
Nicholas
Not exactly priceless, but a piece that size would be probably worth 70 dollars + I have the feeling it isn't amber though probably copal which is transitively cheap.
