I think this is fossil stromatolite, (sp.Collenia undosa). I got it from a gravel pit near Mora, MN, so the age could be anything, really. What do you folks think?

I don't know if it is or isn't a stromatolite, but it sure looks like it would make some very nice carbochons.

It is not collenia, at least not the kind we find in Wyoming. It may be stromatolite, but nothing of which is familiar to me.

I'll try to post some pictures later of our collenia.
