Frank Menser
Back in 1977 I attended a rock & mineral show down in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. A dealer there had three fish for sale - this being one of them. He could not give me a species and when I asked for location he said, "Egypt." This fish measures nine inches and is one half a of a nodule. The eye cavity is filled with tiny crystals. It has been treated with a preservative to protect it from tiny carbon eating insects which unfortunately abound down there and at one point attacked my collection. Anyhow, the question is what is this? Be true to the reality you create.
