I have a 75lb petrified log. Don't know snarge about it, really other than it came from the Klamath river. It was a gift. What is the value? Anyone?

Sorry, but per the Forum Rules and Community Standards, ...we do not perform fossil appraisals here.

"Please understand that The Fossil Forum cannot appraise the commercial value of a fossil; this is beyond what can be done through pictures on the internet, so please don't ask."

You would have to check against prices of similar items on ebay, or other auction sites.

  • 1 month later...

Auction sights are very informative as to what fossils of every type are going for. Although, you can't place the exact value just from auction price because every fossil and buyer is a different case.
