megateeth
Fri: Some pretty nice Meg teeth. Sat: Some Meg teeth and a nice Mammoth tooth. I felt a bone with a hole, so I started digging it out. I ended up with about a 2 foot section of croc jaw that fits together perfectly. It is drying now but I will post photos once it is all together. I went back today and tried to find more sections with no luck. Sun Found some nice Megs today. the largest was 5-3/4" but there are some chips on the root and tip. I found two teeth that were broken in half. I dug down once and found two halves about two feet apart. They were from the tooth on the right. The last photo shows the rest of the days finds. Roz
Just curious, but when you hit just one spot you find all those? Welcome to the forum!
megateeth
Just curious, but when you hit just one spot you find all those? No, it is not quite that easy. I move around a lot. I dig as I go and keep moving. If I find something promising I slow down but if there is nothing else in 10 min or so I start moving again. Auspex
No wonder you like to do this! I understand completely that if selling some of your finds makes it possible to keep finding, then the choice is made.
