Didranurus.......

Your photos starting at the top left....

1.Asterophyllites

2. Could be Mariopteris?

3. I havent seen that vein pattern on that shape of leaf....possibly....Mariopteris sauveurii?

4. I see Mariopteris and Neuropteris pinnules in this block.....

5. Lycopsid cone tip

7 Sphenophyllum

8. Eusphenopteris

No doubt some of my guesses will be wrong so a second opinion is always a good thing.....

I would invest in a copy of '' Plant Fossils of the British Coal measures'' by Christopher J. Cleal and barry A. Thomas

This will help you with some of your your Id's... ISBN 0-901702-53-6

Cheers Steve... And Welcome if your a New Member... :)

Hi

There are not Annularia stellata leaves , that are more spread out, I think of fragments of Annularia strobus (paleotachya) axes embedded in the rock ,look the plates in Crookhall 1959.
