What is the best way to prepare this hexagonaria?

I found this enormous hexagonaria and it doesn't look too badly worn, so I would love better a method for cleaning it than digging at it with my dental picks. Any suggestions?post-20947-0-07822700-1465848065_thumb.jpg

Air abrasion would probably be your best bet, here.

I would start with some dish detergent in a bucket of water, and a soft toothbrush. Then try a mild vinegar solution and toothbrush. You can experiment with small sections of it first, to see if it is dissolving the features or not.

EDIT:

I'm surprised to see this coral wearing a digital type watch. They mostly prefer the analog style.
