Nathan1981
I'm trying to figure out the geologic scale for the Brazos River at the Whiskey Bridge. Does anyone know or can give me a website or tell me a book to look at? Thank you.

JohnJ
The Eocene fauna of the Whiskey Bridge area is found in many posts on TFF. Use the Search function to your advantage. Nathan1981
Tried looking but had trouble finding what I was looking for if it's even out there. Trying to see if there's a way to find out the different layers from the top to the bottom.

jkfoam
Try this, http://www.lib.utexas.edu/books/landscapes/publications/txu-oclc-1457708/txu-oclc-1457708.pdf. H. B. Stenzel has an excellent discussion on the stratigraphy of the Whiskey Bridge site in the referenced article. In this article he elevates the Stone City Beds to formation status. Not all stratigraphers agree with this. Some want it to just be a member of the Crockett Formation. Still, he cross sections the Stone City Bluff and diagrams it from the basal Sparta Sand Formation through the Stone City Formation to the overlying Cook Mountain Formation.
