I'm leaving tomorrow for Tunica Hills to search for fossils. What can I expect? Also, if anyone has been there what should I look for.

Sorry, I have no knowledge of the area, but those links should get you started. :)

Good luck!

I have friends who have hunted it. I've seen a wide variety of fossils come from that area when I lived in Louisiana. Different formations run through the area I believe. I've seen everything from brachiopod, crinoid and tabulate coral fossils to glyptodont scutes & ribs. Also keep your eye out for artifacts. Good luck on your hunt.

I have been meaning to explore for a while and just haven't had the motivation to do it for some reason. Possibilities of great things though.
