Fossildude19
Cropped and brightened the pics a bit. What's the size of this item? I get the impression that it is a partial internal cast of some sort of shell, with some of the shell still adhering to the matrix. Fossildude19
I am pretty sure we can rule out tooth, or claw. The ridges in the shell-like material are too deep to be anything other than some type of shell, ... in my opinion. Let's see what others have to say. Maybe some locals will chime in. Fossildude19
The easiest way is to hover your mouse over the user's name, and you should get a box that has an option to message that user. Conversely, you can also click on a member's user name, and go to their profile page. You have an option to the left of the user's name to send a message. More details can be found HERE. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." caldigger
It is 4 cm long but it is thicker then any shell I have seen at gunn point We have oyster shells around these parts that can be almost 2 inches thick and 13 inches long. I wouldn't rule out shell just because it's thick.
