New Members ggarman Posted December 6, 2016 New Members Share Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Hi, I need help identifying whether or not what I have is a positive cast of a fossil footprint. The "footprint" itself is about 5-6 inches long and maybe 3 inches across. The stone it is sitting on feels like a sandstone, but the "footprint" is very hard rock, definitely not sandstone. Thanks! FossilDudeCO
I do not believe this to be a footprint. It lacks definition of toes or claws or pads, etc. Where was this found? I believe Cincinnati hosts rock that is much to old to contain dinosaur remains.
Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. Your item is most likely a concretion, ... not a footprint.
