Also, the angle of the 1st picture is a bit oblique. If I was forced to make a guess, I'd say that it looks like a geologic oddity, to me. But I see no enamel, or root structure, and no tooth morphology, ... so I vote against teeth. Better pictures from a few different angles in sunlight might help. ynot Posted March 24, 2017 Share Posted March 24, 2017 Hematite is not typically magnetic. To see if it is hematite do a streak test. Rub it across an unglazed porcelain (The underside of a toilet tank lid will work.) and see what color mark it leaves. Hematite will leave a red streak.
