MOROPUS
This examples are from Leon. The darker one from La Magdalena mines (closed), but the other comes from another site, distant several kilometres (closed aswell). The thing is that I don`t know if it is from the same Westphalian strata, so it is difficult for me to analise it. They were interchanged with some of my fossils long ago. Shamalama
I'm no expert on plants (yet!) but the second looks like a Neuropteris type.... maybe. The first pic is very interesting, but I'm not familiar with the European Westphalian yet. -Dave __________________________________________________ Geologists on the whole are inconsistent drivers. When a roadcut presents itself, they tend to lurch and weave. To them, the roadcut is a portal, a fragment of a regional story, a proscenium arch that leads their imaginations into the earth and through the surrounding terrain. - John McPheeIf I'm going to drive safely, I can't do geology. - John McPheeCheck out my Blog for more fossils I've found: http://viewsofthemahantango.blogspot.com/
