I hope you help me in identifying this fossil it is small ammonite like but the sutures are strange . Please see picture below (from http://paleo.cortland.edu/tutorial/Ceph%26Gast/Ceph%26Gast Images/sutures.GIF): Apparently, ceratitic ammonoids lived from the late Permian through the Triassic, though, so it may not be a good fit since you say that you found this specimen in Cretaceous-aged rocks Hopefully someone else more knowledgeable than me will come over and help with identification...
