(not to scale) Dale, I think it is the posterior part of the body that we are seeing - the anterior with "claw" and eyebar would be under the rest of the concretion. Some day I may get the courage to drive a rental out of ORD and pick up some actual knowledge.
digit
I'd choose a rental out of MDW (it's closer). Heading up that way in a few weeks but with a busy schedule. Still trying to figure out if I can squeeze in some time to collect some nodules. Also Southwest flies into MDW and not ORD (you get 2 free suitcases up to 50 pounds with Southwest ). Cheers. -Ken

I’m not familiar enough with partial Tully’s to be describing which part of the animal is present with this specimen; however, I am a active member of ESCONI. So is RCFossils, and Fiddlehead. Two of the worlds most renoun Mazon experts. They wouldn’t action off a faux fossil. I will add fhat its possibly the underside of the animal? Maybe? I’m don’t see the typical markings one would see looking at the top side of the animal. That’s just a guess, though. 1 Finding my way through life; one fossil at a time.
