erose Posted August 16, 2009 Share Posted August 16, 2009 FYI What tipped me off was the "coral-like" structure you can see in the end shot. It's lined up with the length of the specimen. If it was crystaline structure we see in Inoceramids it would have been oriented differently. There were a few huge ones that lived during the latest Cretaceous.
