Shuko
I bought this fossil at the Science Museum of Minnesota, and the label simply stated that it was a "fossil fish." It cost me $14.95, and the stone appears to be a kind of limestone, with extremely thin, easily recognizable layers parallel to the surface of the piece. Although the picture doesn't show it, the limestone is a yellowish beige color. The fish is approx. 4" in length. Any help on identification? Sorry for the lack of detail. ^^;
