Amount of Diamonds in the Earth

Recommended Posts

A few weeks ago a member tried to estimate the number of ammonite fossils in the Earth. Here is a similiar calculation for diamonds: a quadrillion tons. I wonder if DeBeers has read this?   https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/17/world/diamonds-under-earth-surface-trnd/index.html

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

Back off boys, I've already laid claim to everything below 75 miles :)

DeBeers likely already has that many stockpiled and is limiting the supply to keep prices up.

I've read Clive Cussler's- Shock Wave,

so I know how the industry works! :P

DPS, would you like to show me this thread? I have not found it.
Thanks!

PS: I have tried to estimate the number of mud snails (Granulolabium sp.) in the "Florianer Schichten", Styria, Austria.

Its only a guess, but there are >>10 billion (10.000.000.000) of this...
