Serack
Roots, not fossil. P.S. if we consider all these bark impressions fossils, couldn't this be considered a fossil record of these roots?
Dicranurus
This is maybe a little bit off-topic but is there any real ancient (for example clovis) rock art in USA? "It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living." -Sir David Attenborough
Auspex
...is there any real ancient (for example clovis) rock art in USA? The Clovis peoples appear not to have produced any decorative artwork beyond the enigmatic embellishment of some utensils. The Anasazi, on the other hand, left behind some amazing rock art when they vanished circa 1,300 AD. Here is a link to a site on the subject: http://raysweb.net/rockart/ "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease!
