ashcraft
One of our lunch ladies brought this in today. I initially thought it might be a scute of some kind, but the longer I look at it, the less sure I am. What do y'all think? Auspex
Looks like mud cracks. Any structure in edge-view? Frank Menser
Gotta go with mud. Be true to the reality you create.
Metopocetus
Gotta go with mud. But a nice piece of mud it is. Mix it with 2 parts water, add a little(or a lot of) heat, maybe 2 cucumber slices and make a mud facial.
ashcraft
Looks like mud cracks. Any structure in edge-view? The "cracks" continue around the edge. In the dim light in the cafeteria, I thought it was unusual, when I looked at it under magnification, mudcracks were my second impression. Third impression was less sure as to mudcracks, very odd little stone. Thanks for the opinions, Brent Ashcraft ashcraft, brent allen
lawooten
I myself would like to see a pic of a view of the broken edge sideview. The best days are spent collecting fossils
