TriloGuyKy
I am finding these large rounded rocks with tiny circular marks or bumps, could they be intact colonial Tetradium corals from the mid/Late Ordovician? Thanks anyone who might know. These photos are all of the same piece.
Guest FastFingersFurley
Possibly. Try setting the camera to the macro(flower) function and get us some pictures in full sun. Tungsten lighting is murder on images shot with no natural sunlight supplement.
Guest solius symbiosus
Need some better pics, but I'm thinking sponge(stromotoporoid).
TriloGuyKy
Need some better pics, but I'm thinking sponge(stromotoporoid). Had this piece identified as Tetradium sp. coral-like organism by members of the Ky. Paleontological Society.
