New Members sugashayne1 Posted September 23, 2009 New Members Share Posted September 23, 2009 First of all thanks for looking at the topic, I appreciate any help or info. I have not collected fossils but have a few and have always wondered the actual identity of them. I researched on google a little bit and thought this may be a Biv ostreoida possibly from the cretaceous period? I found it in New Mexico and it was a surface find. grandpa
Welcome to the forum from Austin, Tx. Do you know what age the stratigraphy is that contained the fossil. It looks like part of an oyster, but could be something else. Age of the fossil would help.
