Daryl McEwen
Can Anyone help me ID this fossil? It was purchased by a couple in Silver City, NM and was eventually bought by me at a flea market close to where I live. I've had it since I was twelve and always assumed it was some sort of primitive sheep. But it could even be primate for all I know.
Auspex
Looks like a White River Oreodont, but I can't say which one. Harry Pristis
Try to get another image -- an occlusal view of those upper teeth. Don't let the shadow of the camera obscure the fossil. http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
