New Members Thodoris Posted October 2, 2009 New Members Share Posted October 2, 2009 Hi! It's my first serious post here and I would like some advise! Can anyone please suggest me any book(s) or internet site(s) related to fossil fish osteology, identification methods etc? In fact I am mainly interested in cenozoic bony fish but any suggestion is welcome! Thanks in advice... p.s. I promise to start posting pics of my collection soon! There is a book I found on the internet (but have not flipped through yet) that you might consider: Cannon, D.Y. 1987. Marine Fish Osteology. I have seen it for sale on Amazon for $45 but it was also available through Simon Fraser University for $15. There is also: Rojo, A.L. 1994. Dictionary of Evolutionary Fish Osteology. Copeia. It was on Amazon for $185 the last time I looked.
