psylus
Here's a tooth I found the other day while digging in the Peace River, near Arcadia Florida. It seems to be in excellent shape. Perhaps it's not yet a fossil, or I got lucky. I don't know. It's approximately 2 inches long. * Just wondering if it would be rude to post several needed ID's at once. I have quite a few items I have no idea what they are.

Harry Pristis
I agree, appears to be a pig (Sus scrofa) incisor. http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

Mango
I'll bet the rest of that set is in one of the submerged logs. I have seen slaughtered pigs on the boat ramp in Arcadia. Had to hold my breath while launching. Pentax Optio W60
psylus
Yeah, I didn't think this tooth was fossilized. Pig, huh. Well there are certainly enough of them around here. Thanks for info.
