jax
I like these debates! I am just digging thru all my stuff finding the good ones! OK, both of these teeth came from the same site as the other Mosasaur tooth I just posted. The other difference is that these two are much smaller than the other 2. The smaller of the two I believe is Mosasaur, but the other might be fish or something else. You be the Judge. As stated before, Early Mosasaur were pretty small, so this might support that. <sorry for the bad pics, they are pretty small, and my camera isnt the best> These were found a few months ago... I better prep some of those matrix pieces from the Kamp Ranch that I have.Who knows what lies beneath..... Its Sparkle Fm . I cant afford the good stuff.... The reason I bring home all the blocks is when it gets cold, I can sit in my lab (garage) and take my scribe to them! Hoping to find a hidden treasure! My Dad told me one time that I should set up at a fossil show and sell some of my matrix.... I'm not sure anyone would want it? tracer
i think there are people who would want your matrix, but if you have the time and energy, i'd keep it for rainy days and look into it yourself. it allows you to fossil hunt in your own home long-term when life and/or construction eliminates the field opportunities.
