brachiomyback
A very worn tooth from the Green Mill Run, Greenville, NC This is one of the teeth waiting to be ID / filed which was under my recent display "fail". It received some damage, but was lucky to find most of the tip. No root... wondering what it is ... maybe Isurus hastalis or a Parotodus benedeni I hope it's not the later.... this would be my first thanks... Northern Sharks
Tough call without a root, but Parotodus would be more robust (think "D" shape) If you can, compare your tooth with an Isurus and an Otodus. Lower Isurus teeth will be thicker than uppers, but still not to the same extent as Parotodus. There's no limit to what you can accomplish when you're supposed to be doing something else
