BLT
Hi, I’m hoping someone will let me know which type of fossils are in this rock. I found it in Alabama. (Mississippian/Tuscumbia Limestone) Thanks!

ynot
Picture 8 shows botryoidal mineral that probably formed inside a fossil. Have no idea on picture 5. The rest look orthocone nautilus like, but would need a size to be shur.
Elasmohunter
Greetings! I can ID a few things for you. The cone-shaped impression with regular cavities interspersed along its length is an orthoconic nautiloid. Those cavities are called "chambers," and the dividing structures in between them are called "septa." Orthoconic nautiloids are ancient relatives of the modern nautilus, and they've been around since at least the Ordovician if not earlier. They're a common fossil in the area where I live. The ridged, tube-like impression embedded into the rock is likely an impression of a crinoid stem. Crinoids saaw their greatest diversity during the Mississippian. The lace-like structures occasionally exposed on the surface are probably bryozoans. I'm not sure what the elongated, bumpy structure is; maybe someone else could help. Otherwise, I can't identify anything else.
BLT
Thank you! @ynot I took the photos in a hurry while on my way out this morning. I didn’t realize until viewing them later that many of them were blurry. This is the best pic I currently have with scale. 23 minutes ago, ynot said: The rest look orthocone nautilus like, but would need a size to be shur.
