Ok...right off it doesn't need to be said... :P But it was such a cute fake that I couldn't resist (and VERY cheap).

I think this might qualify as an antique as it is an earlier Chinese attempt at fossil fakery - Plastic on shale (circa 1999).

However flipping this thing over I noticed something suspiciously like a fossil on its underside. Might this be something real in fantasy land? :rolleyes:

That sure could be a fossil on the other side, but it looks like it's still partially buried. To find out for sure, it would mean splitting or otherwise preparing the lump out.
