That study doesn't actually mention lips at all. It talked about face integument but there wasn't much that indicated the presence or absence of lips since they just looked at the direct covering of what was there, which is the skull itself.

I don't remember where but there was also another study that showed Tyrannosaurid teeth did have a covering of some type.

 

 

Personally I find it unlikely that most theropods lacked lips.

Hah! New species of tyrannosaurid--Tyrannosaurus besame! (Hopefully, at least the Spanish speaking members will find this mildly amusing). :P
