barefootgirl
Looks like an impression of a Crinoid stem. In formal logic, a contradiction is the signal of defeat: but in the evolution of real knowledge, it marks the first step in progress toward victory. zoup
Hi Matthew. I have a Second Edition Trilobits book by Riccardo Levi - Setti. On page 238 plate 154 it shows a photo of Dalmanitina Socialis some up right some upside down laying on there backs, your photo and the one in the book look the same. It might not be Dalmanitina Socialis but an upside down Trilobit is what you have. Later Paul Edited November 3, 2009 by zoup
tracer
hi matt! i see you're still finding goodies in your creek. yeah, unfortunately it looks like the impression just didn't catch enough of the bug to tell very well which one it might be. but as much as you go hunting, i'll just bet you're going to find something pretty spectacular at some point. i do like a lot of the stuff you've posted. regards, tracer
